A fragment may be living as an Old soul but
have lessons involving the emotional center that are still to be worked out.
These lessons can best be done at the late mature level. Manifesting a soul
level lower than one's achieved state is common and should not be considered a
failure by the fragment.
A soul can manifest several different levels
for various aspects of life. This merely means that you as human beings are
complicated and composed of many elements: psychological, physical, emotional,
spiritual, financial, social, etc. Each may have its expression at a
different soul level. As these experiences are explored and wrapped up
successfully, the soul integrates the lessons, bringing all to bear in the
actual soul age.
Advancement to the next step within a level
is a matter of agreement between the fragment and its Essence. In other
words, not all the lessons will have been completed before the next step is
taken, merely the core of Self will understand the taking of the step and will
expect any areas of the true personality that seem not yet to match the true
soul age to 'catch up'. That is why there is a 'manifested soul age' and an
'actual soul age'.
