Bio:
A retired registered nurse. Hobbies
include gardening, cooking, reading ,needlework, walking with
the dog (Beagle). Do volunteer work with the local Council on Aging. On many committees (why cant I say no).
Love to travel with my husband in our travel trailer. Also love to fish but
don't do much of that. Spend a lot of time trying to figure out who I am . Came to the teachings rather late in
life, and envy those who know so much about it.
Life Task:
I think this is a tough one. I am supposed to be learning about
myself -- inside and out. Have a problem relating this to the general scheme of the planet. It seems so self indulgent and selfish in a way. Surely there are more important things going on in this world then my
make-up. This the only thing I have not totally validated for myself. But must say - have learned quite a bit and it helps in my relations with others. And I do keep at it.
How I found the Michael Teachings:
My daughter introduced me. She has been a Michael student for many years. She sent me the first Message book and it was a big AHA for me . I had been searching for " something" for a number of years. I have greedily read everything related I could lay my hands on
ever since. This was four years ago and was I ever ready! Found Shepherd's book in a local book store (I go there seldom so that in itself was amazing to me ) and I am off and running- trying to catch up so to speak.
