Bio:
I am an Aquarius, highly eccentric and eclectic, who enjoys writing movie scripts and stories and songs. I am a guitarist, but am also adequate at the bass and many other stringed instruments (as long as they don't require a bow).
Personalitywise, I am a textbook definition of an Aquarius 2 and an Old Soul. I have been described as laid-back and easygoing, and, oddly enough - charming, but I don't quite know what that means.
I am having trouble finding all of my overleaves because there are more than one in many catagories that seem to fit me (and I am probably in the caution mode - and "lazy" on top of that).
I don't keep jobs for long and few people understand me very well. I have problems with depression.
I read a lot - mostly philosophy, biographies and theoretical physics for nonfiction and horror, fantasy and "the classics" for fiction. People sometimes have trouble believing that the only foot I have ever set in college was as a dining hall dish washer, mostly due, I think, to my taste in literature. I also like poetry despite the fact that I don't understand a great deal of it.
The Michael Teachings are the closest thing I have found to a "belief system" that I agree with, though I believe that basically all religions are the same once you get underneath all the crap.
I am currently 26 years old, of Irish and Shawnee ancestry, living in Ohio and am in a band that I like a lot. I have never, to this point, had a driver's liscence, but am working on getting one soon. I was born on Feb. 7, 1977 - during a blizzard - in Ashland, Kentucky and spent the first 8 years of my life living in a trailer on a road that was technically called a "holler".
I am a firm believer in reincarnation but have never seriously attempted to remember any of my past lives.
Hmmm... What else is there to say?
How I found the Michael Teachings:
I was twenty and went into a B. Dalton bookstore. I was perusing the new age section and the title "Messages from Michael" jumped out at me, for whatever reason. I read the blurb, liked what I read, and bought it. Although I am only beginning to really understand the more complex parts of the system, I immediately felt that what I was reading was true. It resonated with me.
Since then, I reread it a number of times and have the second book of the series as well and I have read the fourth. I have been unable to find a copy of the third in the series, but I hope to read that someday too.
