| As far as bleedthrough and casting go, I still question which part of
| casting is supposedly the strongest? Is it the greater cadence number,
| the minor cadence number, or the position within the cadence?
Influence is opposite of hierarchy. The position of the fragment within the
cadence is the greatest influence, then the cadence within the greater cadence,
then the greater cadence within the role, which is the highest in the hierarchy.
| I got channeled for me that my greater
(major--49 essences) cadence is
| server, and the minor cadence (set of seven essences) is priest, and my
| position in the cadence is artisan.
That sounds, though the wording is different, like 2/6/1 (or as I write it -
2.6.1).
| I also have artisan ET bleedthrough. Artisan
feels very strong in me.
It should, with ET bleedthrough and primary casting.
| When I found out I had priest casting, that
was really interesting...
Six in the second position should facilitate
channeling those on the astral
plane (seven helps channel those on the causal).
| Well, just some more brain-storming for
you... ;^)

Some good discussions going on here of late, IMO.

For all who remember me as a Artisan/Scholar, things have changed once again.

Hence, my attraction to the Michael material;
it seems to have practical applications, and I like to see how it might fit
in my life and in that of others. There are distinct patterns of behavior
that I have seen that seem to correspond to the Michael material. <<<

Oh! Well, I suppose I am a student, then. <g>
>> Undoubtedly not =every= bit from your

probably more of it is than you realize. One of the characteristics of
channeling is that it seems to be your imagination. In fact, your
"imagination" is the mechanism by which you receive information when
you
actively channel. <<
Argh! Well, shoot. How does one tell the difference?
>> As for background channeling - our

Hmm. Well, I guess I'll have to listen, then. But now I have to figure out how
to listen!

>> An excellent description of
channeling, IMO. With practice one learns to

Hmm. Okay. I'll need to think about that one. I suppose that comes with
pinpointing which images/impulses/thoughts were the ones that were validated and
what the attendant feeling was at the time.

Obviously not writing what I should! So....see you later! :>

Subject: Happy Halloween! The Raven
Dear All!
I was forwarded this VERY clever poem. I wish I had written it. I'm not sure
if the name at the bottom is the author or not. Enjoy everyone and Happy
Halloween
Jen (silent lurker as of late)
With apologizes to Poe
Once upon a midnight dreary, fingers cramped and vision bleary,
System manuals piled high and wasted paper on the floor,
Longing for the warmth of bedsheets,
Still I sat there, doing spreadsheets:
Having reached the bottom line,
I took a floppy from the drawer.
Typing with a steady hand,
I then invoked the SAVE command and waited for the disk to store,
Only this and nothing more.
Deep into the monitor peering, long I sat there wond'ring, fearing,
Doubting, while the disk kept churning, turning yet to churn some more.
"Save!" I said, "You cursed mother! Save my data from
before!"
One thing did the phosphors answer, only this and nothing more,
Just, "Abort, Retry, Ignore?"
Was this some occult illusion? Some maniacal intrusion?
These were choices undesired, ones I'd never faced before.
Carefully, I weighed the choices as the disk made impish noises.
The cursor flashed, insistent, waiting, baiting me to type some more.
Clearly I must press a key, choosing one and nothing more,
From "Choose Abort, Retry, Ignore?"
With my fingers pale and trembling
Slowly toward the keyboard bending,
Longing for a happy ending, hoping all would be restored,
Praying for some guarantee
Timidly I pressed a key.
But on the screen there still persisted words appearing as before.
Ghastly grim they blinked and taunted, haunted, as my patience wore,
Saying "Abort, Retry, Ignore?"
I tried to catch the chips off-guard --
I pressed again, but twice as hard.
I pleaded with the cursed machine: I begged and cried and then I swore.
Now in desperation, trying random combinations,
Still there came the incantation, just as senseless as before.
Cursor blinking, angrily winking, blinking nonsense as before.
Reading, "Abort, Retry, Ignore?"
There I sat, distraught, exhausted by my own machine accosted
Getting up I turned away and paced across the office floor.
And then I saw dreadful sight: a lightning bolt cut through the night.
A gasp of horror overtook me, shook me to my core.
The lightning zapped my previous data, lost and gone forevermore.
Not even, "Abort, Retry, Ignore?"
To this day I do not know
The place to which lost data goes.
What demonic nether world is wrought where data will be stored,
Beyond the reach of mortal souls, beyond the ether, into black holes?
But sure as there's C, Pascal, Lotus, Ashton-Tate and more,
You will one day be left to wander, lost on some Plutonian shore,
Pleading, "Abort, Retry, Ignore?"
Thank You,
Haven Lorenzini

THE END OF THE RAVEN
by
Edgar Allen Poe's cat
On a night quite unenchanting, while the rain was downward slanting,
I awoke to the ranting of the man I catch mice for.
Tipsy and a bit unshaven, in a tone I found quite craven,
Poe was talking to a Raven perched above the chamber door.
"Raven's very tasty," thought I, as I tiptoed o'er the floor,
"There is nothing I like more."
Soft upon the rug I treaded, calm and careful as I headed,
Toward his roost atop that dreaded bust of Pallas I deplore.
While the bard and birdie chatted, I made sure that nothing clattered,
Creaked, or snapped, or fell, or shattered, as I crossed the corridor.
For his house is crammed with trinkets, curios and weird decor--
Bric-a-brac and junk galore.
Still the Raven never fluttered, standing stock-still as he uttered,
In a voice that shrieked and sputtered, his two cents worth--
"Nevermore."
While this dirge the birdbrain kept up, oh, so silently I crept up,
Then I crouched and quickly lept up! pouncing on the feathered bore.
Soon he was a heap of plummage, and a little blood and gore--
Only this and not much more.
"Oooo!" my pickled poet cried out. "Pussycat, it's time I dried
out!
Never sat I in my hideout talking to a bird before;
How I've wallowed in self-pity, while my gallant, valiant kitty
Put an end to that damned ditty." Then I heard him start to snore.
Back atop the door I clambered, eyed that statue I abhor,
Jumped--and smashed it to the floor.

Thanks for that Lori. Having been raised in a country without Halloween
tradition, you fooled me. At first, I thought I was reading some Ashtar or any
other Command journey report. I hope you enjoyed your gLORIous Star Trek outfit.
You're lucky it's Autumn or Spring many Earthly places this time of the year, so
you wouldn't get roasted in your outfit -- or did they take seasons into
account?
Tell us how your true self performed.

Oh, that's very funny! You got it!!! Not only do I really like Star Trek, but
I chose the commander's rank to make fun of the Ashtar thingie, heheh. Michael
once told me, in a reading I had a few years ago, something a friend had also
told me: that I was part of the Ashtar Command. In fact, my friend even said I
had this commander's name, but refused to tell me what it was (as if to say, I
wasn't ready to hear it--hah! Arrogance.) So anyway, I have some fun with it,
even though it's supposedly true.

Thanks! Well, here in this part of California, it's been pretty warm for
autumn. But by this evening, when my 18-month old son gets into his little
space-man costume, it should be rather cool outside....Oh, we're looking so
forward to taking him out into the neighborhood, I just hope he doesn't get
scared with all the strange and scary costumes on kids running all around!
So Brazil and Japan do not have Halloween type celebrations? I thought maybe
Brazil would have the Day of the Dead (El Dia de los Muertos) like Mexico or
something, on Nov. 1st? I think this holiday, even though it's so commercialized
in the US, is so much fun, even looking at it as a perspective of being able to
laugh in the face of fear. This I think, is something society needs more of.
> Tell us how your true self performed.
"OK, Scotty, very funny--now beam down my clothes." ;-) But really,
ironically, I feel somehow at home as a Starfleet Commander, ha ha.
:^) Blessings,
Lori
