Opening Comments

<KarenMurphy> As usual, I think there will be a few words from Michael before we begin taking questions.

<KarenMurphy> Breathe.

<KarenMurphy> Feel the movement of air through your lungs and passageways. Feel this converted into oxygen that is moved throughout your body. Feel the nourishment this breath gives you. In, out. In, out. Clasp hands then with those nearest you, in spirit. Combine across the miles to create one large circle. Find yourself now at the center of this circle. You are each in the center, although each of you also performs the support positions of the circle itself.

<KarenMurphy> Feel, as you are in the center of this circle, the love, trust, and support given you by your fellow students. Enlarge this circle to encompass the earth. Feel the healing energy that you are at the center of surrounding the earth.

<KarenMurphy> Enlarge it again to embrace the universe, the multiverse, of which you are still the center, yet also the outer edge. Feel the breath now. Feel as you have expanded to include the all-that-is, the Tao.

<KarenMurphy> Drop your focus now to the inside of your own body. Feel now as each breath nourishes you, gives you life. Breathe in peace, compassion, all the love that surrounds and embraces you. Center yourself. You are ready, you are at peace, you are part of the One.

<DaveGregg> Mardel, you have the first question...

Q & A

<Mardel> Who in my present life is my son from my last life?

<KarenMurphy> Mardel, you do have awareness of this person in your life now. We will say that this is a peer, a man whose word you respect greatly. You have felt a connection with him for some time now, and this knowledge troubles you. You are unsure how this connection, should you choose to make it, will impact other choices you have made for this life. We will say that this man figures strongly in your dream life, as there is an agreement to meet in this lifetime, as well as other agreements, that this fragment is attempting to honor. You have chosen however at this time to remain blind to this connection for fear of the possible entanglements that the acknowledgement may bring to you and your life. At the same time, you still feel deeply drawn to this fragment due to the pull of the agreements and the lifetimes you have shared.

<KarenMurphy> Quite a quandary, no?

<Mardel> I am attempting to see and not making progress as far as I can tell. I am ready to progress on this.

<KarenMurphy> We advise you then that you may wish to attempt to open yourself to the potential of the connection, gradually. You can do this by setting intention for your dreamtime. Again, this is a person known to you now.

<Mardel> known in person? met? in my area?

<KarenMurphy> We cannot predict, however, whether your determination to remain in a stable position will surmount your curiosity about the identity of this fragment. This fragment resides in your town. A person of some importance, and a peer of sorts. Again, you have awareness of him and have indeed met although you did not at the time suspect the connection between you.

<KarenMurphy> Mardel, you have any follow-up?

<Mardel> Er, a name?

<KarenMurphy> Names don't seem to be quite reliable, but it felt like a Bill, William, something like that. Fairly tall. He isn't known well to you, but you do know of him and have met briefly. Possibly is in the banking industry.

<Mardel> Thank you greatly, Karen and Ms.
<DaveGregg> Janie, you're next...

<janie> I am feeling that a change of residence is in the near future for me...I think it has to do with my children in another province. Can you advise/enlighten me about this?

<KarenMurphy> Jane, we see that your desire at this time to relocate is strong. You wish to be with your children. At the same time, you have fears of course about the uncertainties of such a move, as well as all the mundane aspects such a change would bring. We do see you as having several potentials for various agreements from such a move, however.

<KarenMurphy> Sorry, just a minute......

<janie> yes

<KarenMurphy> As we said, Jane, there are some outstanding agreements that await you should you make such a move. These are in a variety of areas and are part of what is providing the pull you are feeling at this time. We see that it is likely that you will feel, eventually, the pull from these agreements strongly enough to warrant making such a big change.

<KarenMurphy> Janie, do you have any follow-up?

<janie> Can you tell me anything about these agreements?
<janie> agreements with my children...or others??

<KarenMurphy> Mainly with others. Some have to do with your life task, others are merely of a facilitating nature. There is also an agreement regarding teaching.

<janie> Teaching what?

<KarenMurphy> When we say teaching it is not necessarily of the formal sense. You know of course that you are forever a teacher as well as a student. For you, this teaching has to do with the imparting of information to another, or to several others. You may nit even notice that you are doing so, but you do have an agreement for this.

<janie> Thank you... Michael...and Karen....
<DaveGregg> Carrot, you're next...

<CarrotWax> This is a general question, but feel free to relate to me personally if you'd like. I'm wondering if Michael could explain what their perception of what Kundalini is, and how it relates to the centers. (For those who don't know about it, it's an East Indian term used in spirituality, relating to energy at the base of the spine, associated with the reproductive organs. A goal is to move it up through the spine through the chakras to the 7th chakra)

<KarenMurphy> Kundalini is related of course to the Instinctive Center. This energy source is one of the oldest that became available to humans in about the year 10000 BC. Its purpose was to help facilitate motivation for fragments to move beyond that which was comfortable for them. At this time, life was mostly in a survival mode. The switch was either "on" or "off", depending on what was taking place in the fragment's life at any given time. This relates to the sympathetic and parasympathetic nervous systems, which became fully developed at about that time.

<KarenMurphy> This "fight or flight" tendency was due to give way to something a little more complex, and so the Kundalini system was evolved into being. The nervous system has of course continues to evolve, but these older systems are still in place within each human body at this time.

<KarenMurphy> Kundalini arose at a time when man was beginning to think about agriculture and thus needed something of a more complex nature to support this change in thinking and behaving. At center, however, this energy form still relates to the Instinctive Center because that's where it was needed in order to make this source widely available to everyone. Interestingly, humans have evolved to a certain point wherein this energy form is no longer as necessary as it once was. Therefore, the practice was developed to maintain an awareness of this source so as to access all that is available to a fragment energetically.

<KarenMurphy> You would indeed find a shift in your own perception should you successfully cause this Kundalini energy to course through all your chakras. It is an exercise that many find life-changing.

<KarenMurphy> Matthew, any follow-up?

<CarrotWax> what does Michael suggest as positive exercises for inviting this energy through the chakras?

<KarenMurphy> Each fragment will find his or her own method that works best, but we have found that the classical method of inviting this energy to rise within can be of use to anyone. For you, Matthew, specifically, we would suggest a practice of yoga that concentrates on breathing through your 1st and 2nd chakras. In addition, there is an exercise that is used in Reiki that may be useful, wherein one send energy in a circle in a front-to-back motion while at the same time closing the energy circuits by placing tongue to roof of mouth and closing the perineum.

<KarenMurphy> This exercise send energy through the chakras at an amazing rate and magnitude that can help raise awareness of the Kundalini, which of course lies sleeping within all of you.

<DaveGregg> Lisa, you're next...

<Lisa1117> I would like to know what meaning Kurt, my ex husband, is playing in my life right now, if we owe each other karma from the past that is being played out now, and who owes whom, as he is suddenly causing trouble in my life again after being out of it for many years?

<KarenMurphy> Lisa, the man Kurt retains many issues of control and dominance that have been plaguing him for years. They stem mostly from overleaf choices as well as experiences that occurred both while he was young and as a young adult. We would say that many of the choices this fragment had made since that time have also exacerbated this phenomena. The fact, then, that the fragment known to you as Kurt is again attempting control in relation to you is not unfounded. This was part of the drama you played out together and comprised some of the choices you made together about which issues you would present yourselves with in this lifetime. Coupled with that is some energy left over from your last lifetime together. In that life, you knew each other slightly but you had an impact on his life that did create karma as it ended up abrogating his choice.

<KarenMurphy> The man known to you now as Kurt was a sailor accused of thievery in 17th century England. You were the magistrate responsible for his sentencing. You were given false information regarding his case by some enemies of his and your sentence was most harsh: his hands were cut off to keep him from stealing again. An amputee, he could no longer make an adequate living and so starved several months later. Although another came forward later to reveal the truth of his case, and you did make a sum available to his family to subsist on, thereby escaping the creation of more karma, the deed was already done with the man known to you as Kurt and karma was created. Although this karma was repaid in a subsequent lifetime, there is still some energy imprint attached to this situation, especially for the man Kurt.

<KarenMurphy> We would say then that the issues of control and dominance are mainly what can be adjusted between you to create a more harmonious relationship. We do not imply this will be easy however. It may help simply knowing what the issues are. The issues are on your side as well as his and some examination of boundary issues may be of help to you.

<KarenMurphy> Lisa, any follow-up?

<Lisa1117> Does he mean me any harm? do I have to allow him to stay in my life at this time?

<KarenMurphy> Whether you allow him to remain in your life is of course your choice, but be aware that these issues are yours as well as his. It is possible that you can work them through another time, in another life, should you choose to, but be aware that this fragment is determined to create from you a certain situation wherein he can play out his own goals regarding these issues.

<Lisa1117> Does he mean me harm?

<KarenMurphy> There are many ways of causing harm to another fragment. Some may be inadvertent. The term "harm" itself is ambiguous.

<Lisa1117> Thank you again, I so appreciate this.
<DaveGregg> Rhua, you're next...

<Rhua> I am seeking knowledge/information of some of the past relationships my sister Lisa and I have shared, if any, and if we have shared the Michael teachings previously.

<KarenMurphy> The most striking relationship you have shared is one of mother and daughter. You, Lori, were the mother and Lisa the daughter. This occurred in Poland in the 13th century. You two were also involved in the Alexandrian mystery schools and had some knowledge of the teachings at that time, many did, although that was not your primary focus in that lifetime.

<KarenMurphy> Lori, any follow-up?

<Rhua> what was our most recent relationship?

<KarenMurphy> Comrades-at-arms in the Crimean War. Lisa survived but Lori died in that conflict.

<Rhua> thank you very much.
<DaveGregg> Carol, you're next...

<carol-52> Have I completed my 4th monad..if so when..if not am I close? thank you.

<KarenMurphy> Carol we see that there are some issues still outstanding in the completion of your 4th IM. This has been an arduous process for you, as it is for many, and you have been at it for about 12 years now. We see that the issues you may wish to examine involve your family icon as it relates to that of your children. You may find that in shedding the icons you awarded your children you will be able to shed your own and find within you the Carol that has been inside you since childhood, awaiting an opportunity to emerge fully. You still have some repression issues although we see that your relatively recent physical changes have assisted you with this process.

<KarenMurphy> Carol, any follow-up?

<cadi> Carol got disconnected. she would like to ask what her family icon is

<KarenMurphy> The girl who was lost but now we found her.

<DaveGregg> Susan, you're next...

<AeoneSusan343> I really want to express by teaching & writing in this life, I do know in 1850-early 1860's I was the main spirit guide to a writer, in 1863, I did a walk_in, and, they did a walk_out...I know, that this occured to stop them, from writing about the "white rose" which relates back to ancient eygpt; thoth did not want these teachings from higher dimensions (pleiades) (sirius) taught, at that time, is the time right, to bring these teachings back to earth; and; is this what I am supposed to express by teaching & writing about in this life ? I am very connected to these other realms, however, I seem to have an element of fear surrounding the fact, that my work may be judged, that it doesn't come from me ...i'm confused how to give this type of work the proper credits & how it might be received.

<AeoneSusan343> Is there a lesson here about AN old soul stepping into their true power/and, shaking that type of fear forever...I keep hearing a comment, once you step out; and, into your power your life will be forever changed, I do feel this is what essence wants.

<KarenMurphy> Susan, so your question is about how to go about stepping into your full power as an old soul and whether in so doing you will be able to perform what may be your life task which may be bringing to earth the ancient teachings you spoke of?

<AeoneSusan343> yes
<KarenMurphy> Okay.

<KarenMurphy> Susan, we see indeed that you are in many ways highly connected to your essence as well as to the wider community of which you are a part, your essence mates and even those within your greater cadre. We see as well that you have infused yourself in this lifetime with the teachings of many ancient peoples, and you maintain a connection as well with many of your former and future selves. We see however, that you are also easily distracted, and we see that this bothers you. The king casting within you would prefer to maintain focus and this has been somewhat difficult. We find that in order for a fragment to fully manifest, acceptance of all its selves is necessary first.

<KarenMurphy> In order to attain this, we see that you will need to find a way to stop this fight that rages within you, this focus/non-focus battle that is waged within you. We see that the pull for you to write and to find acceptance for the knowledge you have amassed is great. So great, however, that it may block you from performing what is your chosen life task, most of which are not so grand in design, yet when added together create the perfection that is the human condition.

<KarenMurphy> Taken within that context, it may be possible for you to see where you fit within the intricate and harmonious design that is ever-changing yet ever perfect, that is comprised of all the life-task work performed by all fragments extant at any given time. Your place within this mandala is of course necessary for every other fragment, as each piece builds on the next.

<KarenMurphy> Susan, any follow-up?

<AeoneSusan343> would I say the information comes from me; if I hear it ?

<KarenMurphy> We do not see that it would make a large difference, either way, but you will of course feel guided one way or another.

<AeoneSusan343> thank you
<DaveGregg> Helen, you're next.

<Helen> 13 years ago while beginning my spiritual path, I began hearing a high frequency sound that has continued. Can you please explain what I'm hearing and is there a purpose for this?

<KarenMurphy> Helen, we would say that you are not alone in this phenomena. It typically occurs to older souls in the expression or inspiration axis who have chosen a path of resistance toward their life task goal. It often serves as a reminder of the path that has been traveled thus far. Why would a fragment choose such an annoying and pervasive symbol of its struggle? We see this as not necessarily a choice, but more often a by-product of the damage that is often done to the cerebral cortex when a fragment with high frequency attempts to renegotiate too many of the pathways between brain and body that arise due to rapid attainment of spiritual knowledge. In other words, your brain is forever altered as a result of your spiritual path and growth. We would say that this can in many cases be reversed.

<KarenMurphy> We suggest then, for you Helen, some light meditation mainly in the morning. Allow your thoughts to wander as they will and note after a period of several days or weeks the trends you see then. You may find that your thoughts follow a certain path after a time. We would say then that in order to reverse this damage you may wish to choose to follow a different path in your meditation. It sounds simple of course, and it is in a way, but you will require focus in order to retrain your pathways in a slightly different direction.

<KarenMurphy> Helen, any follow-up?

<Helen> Yes. What is my life task?

<KarenMurphy> Teaching others to modify their path while maintaining their individuality.

<ladybroker> Is there a message for me from my "any" guide/michael regarding my vivid dreams from last night?

<KarenMurphy> The dreams you experienced last night were a by-product of your anxiety over your current monetary situation. You are attempting to work through some changes in perspective and in so doing created, out of astral matter, and elaborate world that felt real to you.
<KarenMurphy> The guide in this matter is your essence.

<KarenMurphy> Iris, any follow-up?

<ladybroker> I don't have any financial issues at this time???????

<KarenMurphy> Sorry, that's what came though for you. If you'd like to tell more about your dreams perhaps I can do more.

<ladybroker> I had two dreams and in each one was a male person. I knew both people.

<KarenMurphy> Are you thinking that the male in each dream was a guide or figure of significance for you?

<ladybroker> Both are business contacts but the dreams were intimate.

<KarenMurphy> Dreams have many meanings or purposes. Many are creations by the fragment to work through something that is occurring on the physical plane. Others are evidence of meetings with other fragments, both extant and discarnate, in order to work on various issues.
These can be quite literal or fanciful, depending on the fragment. Anything can be created out of astral matter and many fragments have fun with this. We see that the dreams you are now referring to fall in this latter category. Certain issues were worked out between you but with a twist that made the experience notable for you.

<DaveGregg> Cadi, you're next.

<cadi> May I please have info regarding my task companion.

<KarenMurphy> Carol, your task companion is incarnate, a scholar with artisan casting, a six-year old boy in southeast Asia. You have no plans to meet at this time, but he does figure strongly for you lately since becoming incarnate. You also served as guide for him for several years when you were younger.

<DaveGregg> Cheryl, you have the last question.

<cheryl> would michael comment on the relationship between Jesus and john the Baptist, were they rivals for the title of messiah, were they equals as teachers of truth or did John truly come to pave the way for Jesus?

<KarenMurphy> The fragments Jesus and John had spent a previous lifetime as brothers near the Red Sea. There was quite an attachment between them and the love that bled through into their next life together, the one you ask about, was palpable. There was, additionally, an agreement between these two fragments. The man John was a Sage-cast Scholar, the man Jesus of course a King. They each shared many elements of life task and worked in concert for several years, even when not working together in the physical sense. However, only the man Jesus had the agreement to facilitate the manifestation of the Infinite Soul. There was never any question as to which man would perform this.

<KarenMurphy> Cheryl, any follow-up?

<cheryl> Was the conflict between their camps?

<KarenMurphy> The conflict between the two camps that evolved from these two men is well-known. Understand, however, that at that time most communication was word-or-mouth and therefore subject to alteration. The conflict was never between the men themselves, but of course their followers each had a private opinion as to whom they should follow. This conflict, however, did not seem to dampen the message that was brought to the physical plane on earth at that time, and each fragment, the man John and the man Jesus, each played a primary role in bringing that message to bear.

<KarenMurphy> Their followers in general had quite a different agenda and so were more subject to bringing their own interpretation of this energy to their individual lives. This has, of course, continued to evolve and change with each fragment's own interpretation of the original message. Still, some imprint of that original energy is left and so makes its mark with all of you today.

<KarenMurphy> That's a good segue, actually, to Michael's ending comments, I think:

<KarenMurphy> As we indicated, each of you retains and keeps burning within you a spark of the perfection that is the creation of the human condition on earth. Each of you also is a manifestation not only of the energy of the Infinite soul, which indeed left its mark on humanity, but also of the energy of every fragment that came before or since. As such, you maintain the perfection that is your own creation. Be that, for yourself and for all the future and past generations. Breathe in the perfection that is you.
