THIS IS PRECISELY WHY SO MANY ASTRAL AND PHYSICAL MASTERS INSIST IN ABSOLUTE FAITHFULNESS FROM THEIR STUDENTS, IN ASKING THAT THEY ABSTAIN FROM STUDYING ANY OTHER TEACHINGS. SOME GO TO THE EXTREME OF SAYING THAT THERE ARE NO OTHER TEACHINGS. TEACHINGS ARE CHOSEN CAREFULLY FOR THE STUDENTS. IN MANY WAYS, YOU ARE FORTUNATE IN HAVING A CAUSAL TEACHER WHO CAN IMPOSE NO SUCH RESTRICTIONS, BUT ALSO IN MANY WAYS IT IS CONFUSING TO YOU WHEN IT IS DIFFICULT FOR YOU TO MAKE A SYNTHESIS WHERE THE CULTURAL DIFFERENCES ARE SO VAST. WE WOULD NOT QUARREL WITH THE TEACHING OF THIS YAQUI TEACHER. WITHIN HIS CULTURAL MILIEU, HE EXPRESSED THE LOGOS. THE ORIENTAL CONCEPT THAT, “WHEN THE STUDENT IS READY, THE TEACHER WILL APPEAR”, IS TRUE. THE TEACHER IS LIKE EVERYTHING ELSE, NO ACCIDENT. AT THE MOMENT, MANY OF YOU WOULD NOT ACCEPT THE DIRECTION THAT YOU SO VEHEMENTLY DEMAND. THERE WILL COME A TIME WHEN YOU WILL, AND THAT DIRECTION WILL APPEAR. IT IS NOW ALL THAT YOU CAN DO TO ASSIMILATE THE NECESSARY DATA, DEVELOP SOME TRUST IN EACH OTHER, AND CONSIDER THE POSSIBILITIES WE HAVE THROWN OUT WITHOUT HAVING A TOP SERGEANT BARKING ORDERS. IF YOU ARE COERCED INTO A CHANGE FROM A NEGATIVE SPACE, YOU WILL FAIL. YOUR CULTURE IS AT FAULT HERE IN THAT ALL OF YOU HAVE CORE BELIEFS THAT ARE STRONGLY ANTI-[spiritual]GROWTH. BEING SPIRITUAL IS OF COURSE BEING NONPRODUCTIVE, AND EVERYONE “KNOWS” THAT THIS IS “BAD”. JUST TO ENABLE YOU TO COME PAST THIS BARRIER REQUIRES MUCH INGENUITY, AND COULD BE DISASTER IN THE HANDS OF A PHYSICAL ADEPT, NO MATTER HOW POSITIVE THE ADEPT MIGHT BE. STRANGE AS IT MAY SEEM, MANY OF YOU ARE AMONG OUR MOST EARNEST STUDENTS, AND YET AMONG OUR MOST STUBBORN.

THIS ENTITY SPEAKS FROM THE CAUSAL PLANE. THE BIAS THROUGH WHICH HE IS SPEAKING LESSENS NOW. (The medium’s bias is lessening.) 

During hypnosis, someone asked the question, “Is the power in the present moment?” This was in relation to material he had read in the newest Seth book. 

YOU SEE, THERE IS TRULY A POWER IN THE PRESENT MOMENT, BUT IT CAN ONLY BE FELT WHEN THAT MOMENT IS EXPANDED TO INCLUDE ALL THAT YOU HAVE BEEN AND ALL THAT YOU ARE NOW. IF YOU ARE ERECTING AND MAINTAINING BARRIERS AGAINST PAST PAIN, THEN HOW ARE YOU GOING TO DO THIS? WHEN TWO SOULS MEET AGAIN, AND THERE IS RECOGNITION, THIS CAN BE A POWERFULLY POSITIVE EXPERIENCE, IF IT IS FELT BY BOTH. IT CAN ALSO BE SCARY, AS IT WAS FOR THIS MAN, BECAUSE HIS BELIEF SYSTEM DOES NOT GO BEYOND THE GRAVE. PLEASE KNOW THAT BELIEF SYSTEMS PERMEATE ALL LOWER CENTERS IN THEIR CONTROL. ALTHOUGH THIS MAN CAN INTELLECTUALLY RATIONALIZE ON ALTERNATIVES, THIS INTELLECT EVENTUALLY COMES TO REJECT THESE ALTERNATIVES, AS THE BELIEF SYSTEM DOES NOT ALLOW THEM ROOM. IT IS LIKE THE MOUNTAINS OF EVIDENCE VERSUS THE SHRED OF PROOF OF WHICH YOU HAVE ALL SPOKEN BEFORE. YOU WILL CLING TO THE SHRED OF NON-PROOF TENACIOUSLY AS LONG AS THE BELIEF SYSTEM IS IN CONTROL. 

Could Michael clarify a confusion I have about time, time frames, and physical existence? I get from Michael that we cannot coexist in two separate time frames simultaneously. Seth says that we can, and calls this “reincarnational dramas”. Is this the “pan-dimensional”, or close to it? 

YOUR OWN FRAGMENTS OF YOUR OWN ENTITY DO NOT EVER CROSS THE TIME FRAMES, AS THIS WOULD BE THE ANTITHESIS OF PROGRESS, OR IN SOME INSTANCES, PROPULSION INTO A FAR FUTURE TO WHICH YOU COULD NOT ADJUST. HOWEVER, WHEN YOU CHOSE AN ALTERNATIVE COURSE FROM THE MANY ALTERNATIVES, YOU ACTED THIS OUT. THE OTHER ALTERNATIVES ARE ALSO ACTED OUT IN OTHER TIME FRAMES. FOR INSTANCE, IN A TIME FRAME DAG HAMERSKJOLD WILL NOT GET ON THAT PLANE; IN STILL ANOTHER, HE WILL, BUT IT WILL NOT CRASH; IN STILL ANOTHER, HE WILL BE ASSASSINATED. CROSSING THE TIME FRAMES SERVES NO PURPOSE, ONLY SLOWS THE GROWTH. IT IS POSSIBLE TO SEE OPTIONS OPEN TO YOU. THIS CAN BE THEN LOOKED UPON AS VIEWING ALL THE POSSIBLE TIME FRAMES, AND, OF COURSE, IS AVAILABLE TO YOU AS A VERY REAL SEGMENT OF THE PANDIMENSIONAL UNIVERSE. A REVERSE OR REPETITIVE CYCLE WOULD BE AN ANTITHESIS OF THE NATURAL ORDER, AND WOULD ONLY BE CREATED IN THE MIND OF A MECHANICAL MAN INTENT UPON HIS COMFORTABLE BELIEF SYSTEM THAT REJECTS ORDER. 

Are the essences similar, parallel to this one? 

NO. 

Is there an analogy Michael could give us to clarify this? 

A “DOPPELGANGER” [ghost of a living person] PERHAPS WOULD BE DESCRIPTIVE. THE ESSENCES ARE QUITE SEPARATE, AS THEY EXIST IN A PARALLEL TIME FRAME, BUT EXCEPT FOR THE DIFFERING ALTERNATIVE CHOICES, THEY ARE IDENTICAL. THESE ARE THE LIVES YOU DID NOT LEAD. AN ANALOGY, OF COURSE, WOULD BE THREE TRAVELERS COMING TO A THREE-WAY FORK IN A ROAD, EACH CHOOSING TO TAKE DIFFERENT FORKS, ALL OF THE TRAVELERS POSSESSING IDENTICAL OVERLEAVES AND SIMILAR IMPRINTING. THE CHOICE WOULD THEN INCLUDE ALL OF THE EXPERIENCES ALONG THE ROAD THEY HAVE CHOSEN.

SETH'S NINE FAMILIES OF CONSCIOUSNESS

Q. Seth has described 9 families of consciousness that exist in the universe. Is there any terminology in the Michael Teachings that would describe these families? For example, are these families actually cadres, entities, or maybe roles? 

SETH'S 9 FAMILIES OF CONSCIOUSNESS: Gramada - to found social systems; Sumafi - to transmit originality through teachings; Tumold - to heal, regardless of individual occupation; Vold - to reform the status quo; Milumet - to mystically nourish mankind's psyche; Zuli - to serve as physical, athletic models; Boreledim - to provide earth stock for species via parenthood; Ilda - to spread and exchange ideas; Sumari - to provide cultural, spiritual, & artistic heritage for species. 

MICHAEL: These families of consciousness are not attached to particular souls but provide a way to delineate foci for series of lifetimes for individual fragments. For example, you might have a series of four lifetimes focusing on reforming some aspect of society; you would then be drawing on a discrete consciousness called "Vold" here.

MICHAEL: We have often said that there are many teachers working in your world at this time. Each has a specific objective and each goes about fulfilling this objective as it has decided on. The work of the teacher Orin/Debene is to alert those who hear that there is more to life than the physical. This does not materially differ from our own message, nor could it, if it is Truth. We have characterized most of this world's people as moving in a waking sleep. Our mission is to open some of these eyes to a waking wake. This is the same mission that Orin/Daben have undertaken. The only difference is the ears that are hearing. As more hearers of messages awaken, there will be an impact on the earth, physically upon the matter of the earth, which will affect the interaction between humans and their environment. Which will result in changes that will be palpable. Awakening the Lightbody refers to loosening the energy within not only the individual but also that which can be found in nature. Nature, meaning the covering of the planet, its garments of soil and rock and air and flora and fauna, have a synergy that most of you do not feel. Any effort to establish a connection with this energy is Good Work. The work will only be done by individuals. "Society" has no ability to deal with this energy.

Can you tell me more about it, such as which Entity may have been involved in its conception, how much truth is contained within all of the storylines, etc. Or, is it mostly the maunderings of a madman and I might find more truth elsewhere?

MICHAEL: This publication was the result of connecting to an astral entity. It records these conversations with accuracy, but we counsel caution regarding their efficaciousness. The astral plane is full of energies who delight in imparting their opinions and 'knowledge' to the physical plane. When they find a willing receiver they are off and running. Many of the channelings that purport to address an individual as a 'special soul', or a 'savior for these troubled times' come from these astral energies. They are very good at telling people what they want to hear.

We do not say that there is malicious falsehood in their information, only that one should be conscious of the source.

A: We do not wish to minimize the intent behind this question, but every person you meet is a true teacher. There isn't a soul on the planet who doesn't have something to teach you. The very nature of existence provides a multitude of experiences, and no matter how mundane or trivial there is always an opportunity to learn. Nothing is ever wasted. You are literally learning every second you exist; it cannot be avoided. In this regard, LIFE is the truest teacher.

Concerning people, every interaction you have with another fragment is a chance to learn about the intricacies of the human condition and what it's like to experience life on the physical plane. True teachers come in surprising guises: the Mother-in-law who made your life a living hell; the spouse that disrupted your marriage with a painful affair; the girl next door who gave you your first kiss; the panhandler that asked for money. These are all true teachers and they taught you well. The real purpose behind their intent is immaterial. Essence doesn't judge the lessons it extracts from life, it simply learns from them.

There are, of course, people that specialize in teaching. There is a vast curriculum at your disposal that explores such academics, with carefully defined prerequisites for a potential instructor. Criteria like this can either be helpful or a process of false personality. We are mainly concerned in this discussion with the larger perspective. From our vista we see every life form on earth as a true teacher, from the smallest microbe to the tallest tree.
