Bio:
I am a member of an Intentional Community in rural Virginia, not unlike
"MIchael's Home for Very Old Souls" described in Shepherd's book. I am the mom of 2 small children, and am in the very fortunate position to living in a culture where childcare is considered the task of the entire village (it really does take a village, folks!) My days are contemplative, serene, and for the
most part joyful- I garden, play with my kids, cook meals with fresh, organic
ingrediants, sing, dance, do pagan ritual, and hang out in the sauna. I am very interested in human culture and fostering cooperation, diversity, and tolerence amongst all peoples. I work a lot with non-violent communication techniques and act as a facilitator between various factions, or personalities within the community- a true Scholar in action.
Life Task:
I believe that it has to to do with modeling a sustainable, healthy, diverse, and tolerent culture; as well as experimenting with different routes that will bring us closer to acceptance, then agape.
How I found the Michael Teachings:
A dear friend, fellow communard, and entity mate introduced me to the teachings during a long drive to a Sundance Festival on the Piscataway reservation in MD this summer.
