Bio:
My life has been the epitome of what I’ve heard a 7th level Mature Soul is all about. Not very exciting, which is ok by me. I started out as a child in Merrick, New York in 1947. Started Catholic Boarding School at age 4 and a half until age 11 when my Mom and I moved to Southern California to be closer to my brother who had joined the Navy the year before. What an eye-opener it was. I loved it! It was like moving out of a black and white movie into color. Back into Catholic school, but this time I got to go home every day after school. Finished High School in 1965 and set about recovering from Catholic school. Got a job and moved out of the house right away. A year in New York and another in San Francisco in the late sixties and I felt fully “recovered”. What an amazing time and place. Wish I had appreciated it more back then. Magic was everywhere. I completely discarded the notion of belonging to any religion. It just didn’t make any sense to me...much to Mom’s dismay. I felt much more comfortable in the world’s of the science fiction and fantasy writers. Magic and astrology and similar interest intrigued me, but not enough that I learned much about them. It was enough that they were around me. I love music...most music. In the sixties I was already imagining there should be little “movies” to go with the music of the Moody Blues, Buffalo Springfield and all the other artists I loved. So, I created those movies in my head. Since I was in many of those mental movies, that was as close to drama as this mature soul ever got. I went to Hawaii in 1970 for what I expected to be a short visit with Mom and her husband and my two half-sisters. I wasn’t prepared to fall in love with the place. I felt like I’d finally come home. Recently I found out that indeed I had. Met a guy I wound up living with for 15 years. I’ve lived on three of the seven main Hawaiian Islands. I’ve worked in many fields from bartender to managerial positions, film processer amongst others and now I work in the administrative office of the second largest private subdivision in the United States and I do some glasscrafting on the side as a hobby. I love to read.
How I found the Michael Teachings:
Oh yes.....Michael. Michael came back into my life (this incarnation) in the early 1990’s. Like many of us, “Messages From Michael” found me in a second-hand bookstore. I may have been the Ouija Board on the book’s cover or the fact that I was totally enthralled with a man named Michael who was getting ready to move to the mainland or maybe it was “something else”, but I bought it, took it home and read it twice that day. I can’t say it was a great book or even that I understood much of it, but I felt like this was somehow a familiar and comfortable voice I was hearing. I loaned the book to a friend and when she couldn’t find it to return to me I searched book stores and not only found Messages, but “More Messages From Michael”, “Michael’s People” and “Michael For The Millenium”. Several years later, after getting a computer and going online I was running out of things to search for and came up with the idea of searching for “Messages From Michael”. Lo and behold! There were others like me out there and channels too! That’s were I found Shepherd who did my chart and I found list where folks discussed Michael Teachings and just socialized. Not only did I find home, I found family. I like to think that in many past lives, we who call Michael “teacher” sat around face to face and had discussions like we do now online. One of the good things about the Internet is that although we are scattered all over the world, we can still get together and share our thoughts, learn our lessons and muse about the meaning of it all.
